17th century Russian icon Resurrection of Christ with the Descent into Hades. Moscow, Egg tempera on gesso, on gold leaf on wood panel. Fine and detailed painting. Icon was slightly restored, there are traces of time. Board very slightly bowed. Two slats (shponki) in the back.
