The icon was painted in the 2nd half of the 19th century in oil on a wooden board, red velvet on the back.
Overlaid with a finely engraved silver-gilt oklad consisting of 3 parts, the marked with city hallmark of Moscow 1862, assayer's mark 84 (standard silver 875/1000) "A.S" Alexander Svechin (P.L. #2113) and silversmith's mark “J.M” in Cyrillic, unknown.
Condition: Very good.
