The eight-pointed cross was made of silver, Marked with assayer’s mark 84 standard St. Petersburg, circa 1880 and master’s mark ‘V.V’ in Cyrillic.St. Petersburg, circa 1880 (Vasiliy Viktorov), PL1240.
The crucifix is depicted on the front side, the words “Be the image of the true word, life, love, spirit, faith, purity” on the reverse side, as well as the monogram of Emperor Nicholas II and the date of his coronation in Church Slavonic numbers.
The cross is issued after ordination, is worn during worship over the chasuble, and in everyday situations - over the cassock.
